About Charmaine

Charmaine Picard is an art historian, curator, and fine art appraiser with over two decades of experience in the art world. She has held curatorial positions at institutions including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago.​
Trained in art history at the University of Chicago, Picard specializes in Post-War, Contemporary, and Emerging Art, with a particular focus on Latin American and African American fine art. Her scholarly background and practical experience enable her to offer nuanced and informed guidance to collectors and institutions alike.
